questions on differential

Hi everyone...

I have an 88 m3 with a s50/zf transmission...I'm currently running the stock e30 m3 differential... I would like to get a 3.25 diff...on search, it states to get a 535i 3.25 and that all that needs to be done is change the flange and cover...which flange and cover do I use? the ones from my current differential? Thanks

Yup, stock e30 stuff.

Might see if you can find a M roadster diff - 3.25, lsd, finned cover. Just swap drive cuff flanges. At least I think it's a M roadster diff on my garage floor.

I stand corrected - I knew I either A) Had a 3.25 LSD Finned
or B) Had a M roadster diff



Had a 50/50 shot of being right.
