How much should I pay for a STOCK 413 chip

I bought a 525i 413 ECU so I need the stock 413 S50 chip. How much should I pay for one?

Thanks for the info Trent. I found a guy on bfc with one FS but he wanted $100. When I mentioned that the norm is $20-$30 he seemed to be pissed off.

Soooo, anybody have a stock S50 413 chip to sell me?

What the hell? A 413 DME is around $150, so there's no way that the chip is worth $100!

I'd sell you mine, but it's from an EWS silver label 413.

IIRC the stock S50 413 chips are all from silver labelled ECU, so not able to be used in a red 413 ecu, unless i'm missing something here

but shouldn't the chips be the same? i mean its called 413, so wouldn't the internals be the same too?

Can this be confirmed? I had a chip from active autowerks that I think was specifically for a 95 m3. I didnt work in my red label 413 and I thought the chip was bad (it was used), but if this is true, then its just the wrong chip.

btw matt, I paid 35 shipped for my 413 stock chip.

                      for everyone's information,
12/94 m3 with 506 hardware does not come with EWS enabled. Anything after 1/95 has ewsII. meaning if you were to install 413 EWS on a E30 swap, it will not start because the ecu if requesting a signal from the EWS box which the E30 does not have.
