I bought a 88deg thermostat yesterday and when I was going to install it i forgot that I need to have a thermsotat housing gasket which will arrive tom. I will install it and smog it as soon i put the thrmst.

if you want to come see my car you can to compare parts. I have all emissions equipment in place and have passed emissions. I live downtown and work in Brown Deer. i know which car you bought.
1990m3, where do you live in downtown? I live near north oakland. I guess you know whos the po of my car. I wish I could check your car out but i'm in a tight schedule, I'm going back to the middle east (army) this saturday. call me crazy, i like the car so much that I bought it just to drive it for 1 1/2 week and will be storing it for the next 6 months.:(

I drove the car with seafoam in the gas till it was empty before the smog do you think that did something?

probably didn't hurt. I got my motor from a junkyard and only ran a little seafoam through it, but it blew black smoke for at least 25 minutes afterward. Definitely cleaned out the motor a bit
