    hmmm.......i dont know....i just need the part number bcuz there is guy around my way that says he mount it up without tapping the head & and he will wire the fan to come on when its needed.........

        I forget why, but the short answer is 'no'. We had a thread about this like 3 months ago, see if you can find it to get the 'why' of the 'no'. The bottom line was to either use a harness adapter and stick with the OBD2 sender, or go all the way and tap it.

        I don't get why everyone is so hesitant to tap the head - go slow, it'll be fine. Maybe just me, but I wasn't worried doing it.
