I pulled the tranny off my motor and wanted to put in a new clutch. Wondering if anyone has successfully gotten a dual mass clutch cut? If not what do people do? get a new clutch every time?

A dual mass can be reused once. You don't need to resurface it unless there is something seriously wrong with the surface, in which case you're probably better off buying a low mileage, used flywheel. Just clean off the gunk with some scotch brite, clean off the residues with some Brake Clean, and you're done.
Dual mass flywheels are worth very little on the used market.

I wanted to have mine machined for good measure, the machine shop said they were not able to do so since it was dual mass.
