    Yea, Yea engine swap

So, yea many people on this have wrote and questioned engine swaps. i was thinking on turbocharging my ol' M20. but, ive read that its practically more expencive to turbo it then just buy a more powerful engine. so, a small burning question is which is better? turbo/supercharge M20 Or Bigger engine. Are there any other site ( other than Ebay ) where they see used or rebuilt M50/52/54?

Better is an opinon, but I would say a s50/s52 swap is more worth it. 240hp and still a lot of room to grow. Plus parts are relatively cheap, more upgrade, etc..

BMR sells rebuilt motors, they sell them on ebay though.

I don't know another major chain that sells rebuilt engines, but a local shop would probably be able to do it if you don't want to.

I bet Joe Funk gets those motors in, I'd give him a call first.

I have a s50 and a non vanos m50 for sale... Let me know if you want one, shipping wouldn't be bad since you're only one state away.

          Both are complete.

Funkmasta is the man youre looking for.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

For sure motor swap. With simple bolt-ons on an S50 you'll have 230+rwhp, and 550rwhp easy with a turbo on stock internals.

You can use your stock Getrag 260 for the m/s50 swap.

                          Motor Swap

                          Definatly the motor swap dude.

Then you could turbo that if you wanted to later. The twin cam heads and m50 intake manifold have very very good flow characteristics for forced induction. m20 heads are old 12 valve per cylinder shit
