    If this 96 is like my engine, it comes with the second coolant temp sensor pre-tapped.

          Yes, I'm going S5X.
          I'm really close to picking this up from this guy, too.
          I was under the impression that you can get the DME reprogrammed to work.
          I also plan on going OBD I (of course).

            It might work with an EWS-disabling chip.
