Perhaps. I don't know the CFM measurements of the stock clutch fan.

None of this matters since I can't fit the clutch fan anyway.

    Here's a great discussion on e-fans vs clutch fans : http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content/topic,12721.0.html

Crap. I can't fit the 2.05" SPAL puller fan, either.

Any other solutions? I'm thinking of upgrading the pusher, but what rating is the stock pusher fan?

I spoke with Anthony at Treehouseracing and he recommending trying an eta clutch fan with an e36 radiator.

Would the eta clutch fan fit better? Is it smaller in depth?

Is an e36 radiator better than the late model e30 radiator? I thought they were basically the same.

The radiators are basically the same. I am not sure if there is a difference between eta and i motor fans, but M20 fans fit...

I'm going to double check the M20 fan when I get home from work today.

Do E36 radiators bolt up to 89+ E30 rad supports?

i'm using a 16 inch perma-cool fan mounted in front of the condenser, car stays very cool, when the fan switches two the second speed it pushes plenty of air through to cool my beautiful s52

u can buy the fan here http://www.performancecenter.com/pro...oling+%26+Fans
