My car is swapped to five lug and with that im using a 750mc. I foolishly bought an iX booster not knowing if it would work with the mc, like the 320 does. i know that i have to use a remote reservoir with the ix, but im wondering if i can keep my booster when swapping to s50? shank you

There's some information floating around here that says the IX and the 7-er dual chamber boosters are the same part #, but I haven't seen this with my own 2 eyes yet. If you have a few minutes to go play on realoem.com, I bet you could verify that. I'm guessing your 7-er MC bolts up just fine to your IX booster, correct?

Nope. Won't work. You need an e34 M5 master cylinder to match the iX booster. The 750i master cylinder works with the 320i and stock e30/i booster.Comment
