    Using an E34 Wiring Harness?

I've got an e34 harness, 94 auto to be exact, that I'm using because of availability. At work I have access to AllData which has a fairly comprehensive set of wiring diagrams and connector pin outs. However it does not have a pin out for the main bulkhead connector that you have to wire into C101 on your e30. I've heard that some of the pins on the e34 are different from the e36, which makes sense, however I've been unable to find a pin out of the connector I need.
I read another thread on this subject but the original poster had already wired up his swap and was having problems getting it to start, so a lot of that information is of questionable relevance to me. Once I'm finished I'll be making a comprehensive chart so others won't have to go through the wiring diagrams and find all 25 of the relevant wires and where they go. Anyone able to help out here?
    Thanks in adavance.

the wiring is close enough to the e36 harness that you can use the same pin locations. i just finished a swap at my work for a customer and we used an e34 harness. the only thing you'll have to do is ad a main power wire from the battery terminal(the one in the engine compartment)to the starter because the e34 had the remote battery terminal. but the rest is pretty much te same. hope this helps

Besides the pins for the oil level sensor on the E34 harness, the E34 and E36 harnesses are identicle.
