    new tranny mounts

i bought the mounts trent recommended and they seems to be perfect fit. i haven't test driven the car since it's late and i'm too lazy to move 2 cars. here are some pics. if these mounts fail i'm buying a tranny brace. i don't have the money to swap my ZF yet so this should do for now. $12 each for the mounts

    driver's side

    pass side

Post up those part numbers for the other people running that trans. Im suprised that you have the 260 as you have the s50 but to each his own. Check out car-part.com you can get the zf box for as little as $350.

i do have all the parts to swap to a zf tranny except for the driveshaft. i'll probably do that when i mod the engine.

      here are the part numbers.
      driver's side - 23 71 1 175 732
      pass side - 23 71 1 128 372

i got it from this thread

It looks streched to me, but I am using a small spacer on mine, as i am using a different driverside engine mount than most...

Yours does look "twisted" a tad also.

i'll double check. it probably moved a bit when i tightened the lower nut. the grooves doesn't really line up to the tranny ears. i just ordered the mount for the part number you provided. not sure it's not stretched cause i had to hammer the mount a little to get it in the tranny ears. i'll try and put spacers, maybe a washer on the top and one on the bottom.

which mount are you using on the driver's side?
