Quick Question. Tranny Related.

I need to know wat throwout bearing to use on my swap.
Im using, M20 Flywheel with clutch and a E36 5-speed tranny.
I will also lke to know if the e36 Slave should me fine or ill need one from an e30.

Hmm, not a real common thing. Put it together and measure. It'll be pretty easy to figure out. I would guess you'll need the e36 one.

the thing is i dont have both to messure. and my last day to order parts for my swap is tommorow. so can someone else please voice thier opinion..

Measure the trans/clutch combo. I have the slave cylinders, I'll tell you which you need after you measure.

As far as the T/O bearing, i would use the one for the tranny your using. I have the m50 with the 97m3 gearbox. i used the m3 one. I would say e36 slave too but im not sure.

No no no.

The throw out bearing needs to match the CLUTCH. Lucky for you, they are mostly the same.

faacck so know one knows an exact answer??
the thing is i dont have either slaves nor bearing to measure it from.
I need to know in the next hour...

Get the e36 one.
