    Not Starting

    Here is the story.

If I connect the c101 and x20 connectors, I get this:

12v,Ignition power on (pin7) only in run. 0v in start
Alternator wire reads 1.6v (possible problem)
12v, starter power (pin18) in start
    0v, k5/k7 relays.

If I disconnect c101 and x20, everything reads normal.

    The car cranks.

There has to be some kind of short some were. Can the start still crank, if the solenid is stuck?

    Thank You, for your help.

I'm just curious, how did the fuse box get fried if you forgot to remove pin 20? I know that with an late-89 C101 it has pin 20 and the 88 body harness doesn't have a pin 20. Was there still a female pin in the chassis end of the C101?

Got all the grounds hooked up? fuel rail, engine mount arm, 2x coil grounds, large wire paired with diag conn?
