    Wiring Question?

Ok sorry if this is in another spot in the forum but i was hoping some one who knew more about wiring then me, im really bad with wiring could tell me what these Wires are to that come off the engine harness and what i would need to do with them when i put in the new harness for the M50.

My engine caught on fire and i am now a little pushed for time as i only have a bike(motor cycle) to ride now. I already had the engine but am laking some things but now have to start any ways because i only have liability on the car.

No the fuse box is ok just the tip of the plastic cover got a little hot and misformed. I really dont know what happend i was taking off from a red light, just going to shift to second and the car lurched and staled. While i was rolling forward i was trying to start it and some body drove past me and said its on fire. I was like what and she yelled at me that it was on fire. I looked up and saw smoke coming from the hood and grill and got out. The fire dude couldnt get the hood latch open and this other fire lady was trying to pry it open. But i knew that it has to slide froward befor going up. So he riped my grill out and gave me a screw driver so i could pop the latch. So yah shity deal.

Based on the pattern of damage I'd hazard a guess that the cause was either an oil leak along the passenger side or a fuel leak from the injector rail. You can see that there's little to no damage on the driver's side fender well, but lots on the passenger side. A badly leaking valve cover gasket, camshaft seal, or even an engine main seal could have caused this.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Well he said the car stalled. Maybe 3 bar of fuel was being sprayed around the engine compartment?

SAE 30R9 fuel hose for life.

Im thinking the line came off of the fule pressure regulator. Bcause that line is completly missing. No remenece of it at all. and when the hood goes down the whitest hot spot is right in that area. If not i dont know.
Either way whats done is done
But i was hoping some on could let me know what to do with those wires i circled in the main pic can i cut those, and if i do what do. What do i do with them, what do those get wired back to.

I dont think those wires actually come from or go to the engine harness.

You do need the 3 pin connector in the foreground of the pic though... that's your C103 connector (i think) that has your VSS and other stuff.

Oh, if you have an ETA, those might be for the idle controller. They will be gone when the motor harness gets gone.

See i really dont know all of those wires that are there conect to the harness some where and that big buch goes into it on the other side of where you see it there i can take more pic but i was wondering if that isnt like the stuff for the check panel, Mine is just an E so i dont have all the goodies. I dont have ABS, i dotn have the X botton computer mine is just a clock and temp and date but the temp just reads -22 haha. I was just afraid to cut those and i would have no idea what the hell to do with them. And as for those 3 pin conectors. Yah i dont know either, I am really bad wth wiring. It took me like 2 hours to pull the whole harness yester day now im just waiting to see what i need to do with those few wires in the car.

Every wire in your car leads someplace. Maybe if you tell us where they go, We can tell you what to do with them.

If they go from that little green thing into the engine harness, just un-bolt the green thing and take the whole mess out of the car.
