My S50 doesn't want to pass 6k territory...

Ever since I got the motor swapped in I've been having a hard time reaching my 7k redline. As soon as it passes 6k, power drops off a lot and barely makes it's way to redline. I don't understand it.

I have lately been having issues with the car getting fuel and being undrivable, but after a good HFM cleaning it runs well again.

Is it possible my HFM is on it's way out? Would having the cone filter directly connected to the HFM affect the sensors ability to measure airflow at higher RPM's or at all?

Interesting....I'm pretty damn tired right now so I didn't understand everything being said. Hopefully I can begin figuring things out in the morning.

I have been getting the O2 sensor code, so maybe that's part of my problem.

        I have a 3.5'' BTW.
