Adding A/C to M50 swap without it.

I'm probably going to pick up an e30 with the M50 swap - how costly is it to add A/C to these suckers? What do they typically go for used from a part-out, and what snafu's might i run into?

is the condenser still in place? what about the lines? you will definitely need an AC compressor, reciever drier, and gas.

2-300 bucks depending on what all you want to replace. I sat expansion valve, recv/drier and you need custom hoses. O and of course a compressor. PM me about the hoses I plan on getting some made along with some cupholders.

You live in iowa, you wouldnt know Kolin Brighton. Friend of mine knows an Evan, but you live in iowa any ways where abouts I have an E30 that im doing the 24v Swap to and im tearing out my AC i dont want it if you live Close we could arange some thing
The only thing is I had an engine fire but as far as i can tell, 90% if not all of the AC stuff could be slavaged if you want stuff let me know B4 i start cutting and hacking cuz im tearing it all out and if nobody wants any thing from it im pobly just going to cut and rip.

Haha, yeah, I'm that Evan. Kolin and I have been the BMW guys of CR for a while :). I'm on the other side of CR from him (Hiawatha, actually). Are you the guy who bought his M50 after his OBD1 S52 swap? (and did you hear he put it in a ditch?)

Hahah i thought that was you, yes i was with him when he put in the ditch i was on my bike right behind him. Ya i was over to your house when you had the 318ti M3 monster beast/ head ache. But if you are looking for AC parts and dont want to pay much or pay shiping i have every thing still in the car.
Some parts are a little Crispy, not much of the AC is burnt tho plus its all metal. But if you need the Condensor or pump or some thing else im ripping it out of my car soon sense im trying to get this swap done sense im out of a car for the moment.
