So I'm having intermitent fuel pump problems.. I had the car running yesterday (per my post)... Now the car wont start. Basically I'm getting 12v at the fuel pump relay.. I turn the key to the on position, the relay clicks, and the Green/Purple fuel pump source shows 12V. The funny part is, I'm not getting 12v at the damn fuel pump connector, even when I'm showing one end of the wire with 12volts! All of the fuses in my fuse box are perfect, I'm pulling my hair out here!!!!!!!!
Ok, here is a stumper! (fuel pump wiring)

so your sure its the fuel pump relay that clicks? i was just reading on another post like 5 minutes ago that the fuel pump relay doesnt close unless the dme senses the engine cranking via the reference marks on the crankshaft

grab the tester. start from the source and find where the power ends. power goes from f.p. relay (grn/vio) wire, to fuse 11 (check both sides of fuse, then remove fuse and check.) from there it goes into the cabin, along the door sill, into the back seat (splits for dual pumps) and then goes to both pumps. cheers, jason

I have tested from the main red power source at the relay, then turned the ign on, and the green/purple gets power. I then check both sides of the fuse on 9-10-11 fuses (all having to do with the fuel pump some how). Fuse 11 gets power on both sides.grab the tester. start from the source and find where the power ends. power goes from f.p. relay (grn/vio) wire, to fuse 11 (check both sides of fuse, then remove fuse and check.) from there it goes into the cabin, along the door sill, into the back seat (splits for dual pumps) and then goes to both pumps. cheers, jason
This may be a stupid question, but where is the second fuel pump? I have a 90 model car... I have only messed with the intank pump. I'm about to put a walbro 255 in it this afternoon, so eliminating the second inline pump would be nice. Thanks!

If your car came with 2nd pump, the inline pump would be under the car on the driver side just infront of the rear wheel. That's where my 2nd pump is located.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
