    Ok need some help

I hope this isnt to stupid, but sense my engine came from a 94 that got an S52 put in it and swaped to OBD1 i have been finding things that i need to get back sense they were taken off. First is this, can someone tell me what the 2 holes on the head are for and what goes in those. And what is the third one on the block for?

    Second
This is in my car right now what the hell is this thingy. Is this an ABS pump i wanst sure because I know my car doesnt have and ABS light and i know i dont have ABS because i can never stop in the winter, all four lock up so if it is that means it doesnt work, and i would like to just rip it out i dont really like ABS not a big fan but maybe its just a fuse i need to replace and it would work I dont really know.

top left hole: water temp sensor for DME
top right hole: water temp sensor for gauge (use e30 sensor)
bottom hole: maybe for the knock sensor since it is a VANOS

Ok you say i can use the one from the E30, im hoping it wasnt damaged in the fire, my luck is it probly was, would that be located in that cluster around the thermostat housing on the E30.

That doesn't look like a s52 head though, it should only have 1 sensor hole. S50s had two.

True. OBD1 cars used two sensors in the head, OBD2 cars (even the M52) used only one.

But what is also weird, is he has a "short" Vanos lead, which normally means it's OBD2. Strange.

Early 96 production M/S52 heads used the M/S50 casting with the second port already tapped. The second port was capped off with a bolt.

Also consider that if the engine had been installed in a 1994 E36, it would have required the second port to be tapped or the splitter cable to be used, drilling and tapping being cheaper than a $50 temp sender splitter cable.

Also, the timing chain cover has the coolant hose fitting installed in it so you can run the OBD-I spider hose.

B3M2W5, after using Google to translate your question into English, what you're thinking is correct.

There are two sensors in the E30 thermostat housing, one with a blue connector (2 pole) and one with a brown connector (1 pole). The brown connector is the one you need, and it threads into the right sensor port in the head.

The left sensor port is where the blue E36 temperature sensor for the DME threads in.

I was gonna say save yourself some trouble and plug the third outlet from the left.

It goes to the TB to warm it up and since you are in a cold climate you might want it.

Sorry I am Horrible at spelling and punctuation. So i appoligize if its hard to understand what i say,
But in any case None of you wouldnt happen to have a spare one of either of those sesnors lying around would ya. Turns out the only one that didnt melt in the thremostat housing is the one that fits into the Smaller hole. I pulled the one i actually need and its, well melted. If no one has either of those, would any one know the part #'s for those 2 sesnors.
