    Another oil level sender qestion

Sorry, I know the regulars get annoyed by noobs not searching. I swear I
have, I'm just not sure what to ask for. I installed an new oil level
sender and cut a 3-pin plug and about a foot of wire from an old
harness. If my car ever gets painted and I get to begin my swap, I
will be utilizing a Treehouse adapter. The W.H.A. has two green wires
labeled "oil level sensor" (pins 1 and 3). Is that pins 1 and 3 on
the sensor lead? How are the pins in the sender numbered? I can
guess that pin 2 is the middle. Is #1 the forward or aft pin?

Here is a picture for reference.

    Thanks,

    kroberts

slide back the rubber boot on the plug and they will be numbered for you...

if worse comes to worse just hook the middle wire up to an orange/brown wire and the outter wires to the 2 pins in c101 until the light isnt on all the time(there are only 2 combos so you have a 50/50 shot on getting it right off the bat)... hook it up backwards and the light stays on all the time...

good thing you are using this sender.... according to r3v you car would explode without it

There was a thread about this like two days ago with what pins do what. Look back a page at most and youll see it.
