m5/735 master cylinder 3rd brake line

I know people without ABS T the rear line together with one of the fronts but my mechanic told me and I confirmed, that the M5/735i master cylinder to be used with the iX/735i booster, actually has a bolt on the bottom plugging up a third hole, and to simply use that...

I sure like that better than having one hole service one wheel, and the other service 3. Anyone else done it this way?

Nope. We used a splitter on the non-ABS car we did.

Is there anything wrong with using the bottom hole?

Not sure. There are too many different variations among parts and manufacturers to know if/how it will work. Give it a shot...

I've done this in the past. Just plug the hole, it will be fine.
