With the key in the accessory position, i have no oil pressure light on the cluster. My understanding of this circuit is that the ecu supplies power and the pressure switch grounds out when it reads low pressure, (or none in this case) completing the circuit and illuminating the warning light. If that is correct, then im stumped.
I have power at pin 23 (brn/wht) (through my adapter from the body side) and a ground at pin 23 on the engine side. When i jump a ground to pin 23 on the body side, the warning light comes on, however when plugged together, nothing. I had started the motor yesterday but didn't let it run very long, but while it was the pressure light was very dim and seemed to pulsate. Im not very good with electrical troubleshooting, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
