E34 525i Booster Same As Ix

I bought a 525i for obd1 donor and pan etc . noticed the booster looked kind of small and I check the part # same as IX . So it looks like an obd 1 525 is a great donor car , harness,pan and brakes .

What's the BMW part number?

I checked realoem.com and the E34 uses 2 different boosters, 1 ATE and 1 Girling. Neither of them come up as being the same as the 325ix booster though....

the 535i booster is the same though.

WWW.ROCKAUTO.COM same part # . I compared the two side by side and measured them they are exact !

You will need a piece to connect the booster to the firewall, I think.

It appears to have the same adapter on it 2 into 4 unsure if the pattern is exact but it does has an adapter preinstalled

2 question does the 525 e34 have to have the m50 engine? and where is the part # on it?

Yes same m50 . I am using a bunch more e34 iems I will post pictures in a few weeks .

The resevoir happens to me a triangle shape and seems top be further off set to the left . The master is the same length itself . With the offset I think it will be a winning setup . I should have the driveline bloted in by the weekend .
