Radiator talk....

Cooling channels go north south vs east west. Might cause flow issues as I have never seen a radiator mounted in this fashion.

Has anyone? Thoughts on efficency?

Um... it works great with me. I overheat if I sit in line for a long while, but it's because I have a horrible efan. I really need a good pusher.

But I dunno about this whole north south deal, but the end tanks (in and out) are almost on the exact same spots. The out tank is the same (top left) and the in tank is all the way on the bottom right. On the M20s it's where the end tank sits in it's bracket, but on the Koyo it goes farther down, meaning those brackets have to be removed.

I'm using two L brackets welded to the bottom of the radiator support to hold the Koyo in place.

I'm using a 57mm PWR radiator. Fits perfectly, as long as you use a low profile pusher fan. Car runs a few ticks cooler on the stock gauge.

Got my radiator in, had a few marks from shipping. Sending it back and getting another tomorrow. A couple of the cooling fins and been smushed and crinkled.......damn shipping.

Carr Industries also has another lower priced alternative to the Alu-radiator.

At $349 it's alot cheaper than PWR's or Zions. But only 45mm vs 55mm.

I got a euro e36 rad. with the built in expansion tank.
going to have to fab up brackets, but it should be good
plus i got a deal on it :D
