You need to use the E30 5-spd. bracket.

I'm using the e30 m42 bracket which I would think would work for you too since you don't have to ghetto rig it at an angle like the getrag 260.

Which E36 trans? The M3 trans will use either the E30 or E36 M3 flex disc. They are both 96mm BCD and have 12 mm holes.

              Please, search.

I believe a 1999 328i is what my slip says . Appears to be an interchange for the M3 trans ?

Yes, they are the same. You need an M3 guibo. I suggest the e36 M3 one.

WTF are you talking about ?

My 318is has the same exact e30 5spd bracket that we are talking about here .
Same goes for the 2 that I've taken from 318is's at the bone yard too .

well I guess you have trouble reading or something? The tranny from the 325 (getrag 260...) has to be turned at an angle to fit the m50. I don't have a m20 tranny bracket to hold up to my m42 one but even if they are the same that has nothing to do w/ the tranny. If a m42 tranny sits upright and the e36 tranny does too then it "should" be the same. W/ the 260 you have to weld a hump into the bracket to make the angle.

go back into your hole asshat

Teaguer is right. The E30 325 and 318i (M42) brackets are the same. Your post made no sense.

well thats great, as I said I haven't looked at the m20 bracket. BUT the m42 tranny sits upright like its supposed to on a m50 just like on the m42 motor it came off of. And the m20 tranny sits at and angle on an m50, ie not the way it sits on the m20 motor. Soo all I was saying is that since both the m42 and the e36 tranny sit upright like tranny are supposed to then it should be fine.
