    what fan/clutch are you using

Ok I searched . I have all the stuff everyone else is using m5 mounts e36 arm and radiator . I tried a 525 fan/clutch no fit I tried my old e30 m3 clutch and fan no fit . Is there a specific fan package that fits or should I just go electric and be done with it .

I dont use a fan, got the 80 Deg thermostat and the 88 Deg aux fan switch, and my car rarely gets to the center in my coolant temp gauge. Also after I upgraded to an all-aluminum bigger radiator, it hardly ever even moves at all.

You can fit a fan if you really want to, but it has to be on before the radiator is put in the car.

If you want A/C it's going to have to be a puller. An M42 fan clutch should fit, it does with my Euro 3.2 and PWR radiator.

Take a look at some of the slim line electric fans as well. I've seen a few that are approx. 2.5" thick.

ordered a spal 16" puller with a 2.05 thickness . This fan is only 1300 cfm but my thoughts are that with the stock fan I hope to be ok . There is no room for anything bigger on my car ?

i'm using a stock m20 clutch and fan. The scret is to turn the fanthe other way round for fitment, you will need to experiment a few times to get it right

the other way is to get a super slim 324td clutch fan, which will fit with ease and only setback i found is that the radiator has got to be removed if the fan clutch needs to be changed
