Heylo,

I would like to build a catalogue of your 24v M50, S50, M52, S52, M54, S54, etc motor swap gas mileage in your E30.

Format like this please:

Motor: i.e M50 non-vanos
Tranny: i.e Stock E30 Getrag 260
Diff: i.e. 3.25LSD
Mods: i.e chipped, headers
In-town gas mileage: 24.5MPG or 325miles from full tank to the light that turns on
All around (mixed): i.e same as above
Highway: i.e same as above

Mods: s52 cams, 540 MAF, chipped, samco TB boot
In-town gas mileage: dunno
All around (mixed): i think close to 21-23mpg, i get 220-235miles till the light comes on. this is conservative mostly but with quite a few blasts up to 100 here and there.
Highway: dunno

In-town gas mileage: Haven't done that yet
All around (mixed): Around 22mpg, but that was on the first tank (heavy on the accelerator) I think i got about 250 miles out of the tank but my shell is a 318 so tiny tank
Highway: I havent done this yet either, im still on the second tank of gas.

I know E30Groupie has a 1:1 ratio for fuel/miles. Smonkbmw is likely about the same.

Yeah, I didnt add fuel to the car between October and March. LOL

My odo is broken so I have no idea what kind of mileage I get.
