Let's see your Getrag 260 bracket

Modified or whatever need to be done with it to be able to use a Getrag 260 with a 24v setup.

I've seen one on here or somewhere else. Wanted to see if anyone else had some better designs...hopefully something that looks more factory.

they say you can use a small e30 and a e21 one and without modifing it, but its not working for me at the moment.

I think he may be talking about the transmission mounts themselves and not the bracket.

IIRC, there is a combination of mounts that can be used so the bracket doesn't need to be modified.

i thought yer using an e36 tranny.

the correct combo to use is an auto tranny e30 mount for the right side, and the big crooked looking e24 mount for the left side. part # are in another thread....

That would be nice. I'd rather not fab something if stock stuff will work.

OK Heres mine i tried using an auto tranny e30 mount for the right side of the tranny, and an '84 e24 5spd tranny mount for the left side.
But it turned out like this......kinda worked but it didnt.
I dont really know what to do from here.....

You can't just run OEM mounts with an unmodified bracket.
They bend and twist all wierd and the tranny doesnt sit in the right place.

if you can't modify your own, have doug make you one.
