OK, I'll fill you guys in... it's not actually a kit. The only piece of that kit specifically designed for a BMW of any kind is the manifold, which is welded by a robot in china. They are utter crap.

The "charge pipe kit" contains a bunch of bends of the cheapest available aluminum (try welding it) and a bunch of cheap maybe silicone maybe rubber connectors and t-bolts clamps. Note that none of the pipes have a BOV flange welded on. No intercooler bracket also.

Even the oil feed kit, which is the EASY part of a turbo kit, is just a bunch of generic fittings that you'll need to stack and adapt to fit the M50.

The turbo is a no-name brand, probably a knock off master power. (real master power turbos are actually OK)

Compare their pictures to a proper turbo kit and they don't hold up.

Note the pipe flattened to run between the pavement and the control arm. Hit a pothole or a bump and you WILL lose this.

They also flatten the pipe to run under the motor mount. DUH! Every TRM kit includes a fabricated motor mount for perfect clearance.

Detail of the same area on the TRM prototype car... Nothing lower than the stock suspension.

And one piece, mandrel bent, perfect-fitting charge pipes throughout...

          Thanks for looking.

That's some nice work on the kit above.

I wouldn't even think about putting an eBay turbo kit on my car. I don't think there was any mention of boost/fuel/timing control above - but that is an absolutely critical ingredient if you want the set up to run further than down the block...
