I dunno, he said there was schrick cams in there and he didn't have the software. And the head cracked from it.

I suppose actually thinking on that... it doesn't make much sense why it would crack rather than just run bad. I never gave it much though actually as to why.

    Damn that sucks.

I worried a lot about things like that when I was swapping mine in. Mainly because a russian did own the fucking thing lol. Actually I was more worried about having cams in it right before the test fire. 95///M3 on BFC did the swap and didn't know the motor had cams and blew the head apart.

Turned out though the engine runs like a champ and I haven't had any major issues.

Dude it may have just been the nose of the crank. Pending a compression check, leakdown, ect - it could be determined that you only needed a crank.

don't listen to him. the first night i gave him all the spgna he could drink and we bbqd 2" thick filets. the second night we fed him 2 lbs of king crab legs. he was such a pig that we actually swatted my wife's hand out of the way when she reached for one. he grabbed the plate with the legs on it and wrapped his arm around it like a caveman. i would have been pissed if it wasn't so embarassing. my wife didn't get to eat dinner that night.

Sorry to hear about that btw. Any clarification from treehouse on the harness?

    Got the wheels btw, thanks!
    glad you got the wheels.
treehouse hasn't really been much help. their troubleshooting advice is to find an e36 and see what the wiring looks like on that car.

thanks guys. i found another motor in florida that should be getting shipped out today so i should be back in business pretty soon.
i'm going to part out the other motor and should make most of my money back.
