    Flex disc collapse under load.

I have been having problems wit my flex disk denigrating under a load prematurely Due to being over powered by my m50 stroker motor have any of you have the same problem and maybe a remedy??
    Thanks,

is it because of the power for sure? Could an out-of-balance drive shaft do that?

there's a m5 guibo upgrade somewhere if you're talking about this part:

      No it is

Only vibrating under a heavy load and I had no problems with the regular m50 till i went up to this motor and the soft tires..And i don't think i will be able to use that disk you speak of because that upgrade is for the m3 the m3 drive shaft and tranny are different from regular 325i so is the flex disk (it won't bolt up to my trans and shaft.)Thanks for looking though...

I doubt it's because of the power. My old turbo stroker M20 car never broke a guibo.

If your guibo is not an OEM one, get one.

217 rwhp took over two years before the disk showed cracks.

Car is drag raced several times a year (though only with 205 16 KDW tires at full tread).

I drive around the water box so no burn outs but I do dump the clutch at 2200.

Replaced the guibo with aftermarket so I'll keep a close eye on it. Thanks for the tip about non-OEM.
