I found a cheap,good condition m50

i am going to get it for 400 bucks.
as far a swaping goes, can yall give me an estimate on what i need parts/price wise?
should i stay with the getrag 260?
what needs to be custom fabbed?
what ecu/ wiring/ all electronical stuff do i need.

if yall could peice a list together to me than that would be awsome.

the 260 is trash. Use a 350 turbo tranny with a 2400 stall converter.

What you need is a Powerglide, who needs the 3rd and 4th gears. When you can only have 2 gears.

Yeah, 1st = Mullet and 2nd = NHRA. :)
