    E36 Auto tranny question

    This is not for an e30 but I know someone here knows. I have a 93 325i that the auto-tranny is going to die soon.I have a 99 m3 auto trans in the garage will it bolt up and work properly without modification ?? Thanks Brian

    Yes, I can't remember if there is anything else to hooking it up and making it work though.

        Just make sure you use the torque converter from the other tranny and it will work.

            Not sure it will work...the M3 has a 5 speed auto versus the 325s 4 speed. it might work, but you might not get the 5th gear. *shrug*
