And I think I had my tranny bracket in backwards before. Was still a pain since I can't remove the exhaust.

The one that came with the NV. (92E36 325i)
No there wasn't a fire, just old oil soaked and swollen.
Since I am using the E30 drive shaft and as Matt has discussed in the past about the bolt size differences between the E36 guibo and E30, I chose to drill the driveshaft flange to accommodate the E36 bolts.
If you look at both pics you can see were the old bolts were contacting the flange.Originally posted by 325Projectzdon't listen to the diagram... listen to mr. swiss.Comment

Looks like I popped another trans mount and fuked the flex disc. Went ahead and replaced both my front control arms and steering rack, installed teh solid offset ca bushings and took three bolts off the flex before midnight last night. Picked up more new bolts and nuts today, new flex and one trans mount. Hopefully all will be well when I finish tomorrow night. :drink:Originally posted by 325Projectzdon't listen to the diagram... listen to mr. swiss.Comment

Looks like I goofed on the way the flex disc was installed before. I thought the arrows were for the direction the bolts went through it. This flex disc came in a box that had a installation guide that said the arrows point toward the flange and the "overrun area" which is the thicker part between two bolt holes vs. the part that has a gap in between. so hopefully this solves it.Originally posted by 325Projectzdon't listen to the diagram... listen to mr. swiss.Comment
