A while ago I saw a nice write up on rebuilding the bottom end . I cant seem to find it using the search function anyone know where it is ???

You wrote that you got the piston rings from the dealer for $200. S52 rings from the dealer are $180 something a piece????

I found s50 rings from Deves

part number: 2806 - ~$250
STD - BMW M3 9/92-1995 6-CYL S50B30 ENG

maybe they're stocking s52 rings now

I only see rings or pre 93 BMW's ???

I machined the bottom groove in my S52 pistons to fit Total seal rings. 4-cyl set of rings is $99.00

I have part numbers somewhere. I'll look for them.
