I went with the AA C38 Stage 1 kit. The guys at AA was really helpful and I did the complete installation, by myself in a weekend (I have minimal experience with engine work). My car is an E30 with an S52 motor in it. Everything fit as it should but I had to fabricate my own custom intake as the one from AA was not compatible.
I looked at different Superchargers such as Eurosport and VF Engineering. With VF Engineering and Eurosport, I sent several emails to them, they never responded. I figured if they can't even respond to my emails, they don't take me seriously. When I called them, they talked to me as if I was a joke! AA was the only one that responded immediately and they were very helpful. I highly recommend them. Both VF and Eurosport were a-holes. It seemed like they took me me as a joke and didn't take me seriously. AA on the other hand, took me seriously right from the start and helped me build my car.
The installation was really simple and the instuctions were very straight forward. The car started straight up without any hesitation and has been running smooth ever since!

Personally having done LOTS with forced induction setups I'll be going the supercharger route when the time comes. Turbos are great and make tons more power, and no one can argue they aren't more efficient. However, lag eventually does become an issue. I haven't driven a turbo car yet that didn't exhibit some lag. That sort of defeats the purpose of the flat torque curve of the S52.sigpicFormer professional wrench thrower.

Did you dyno the car?
I haven't dyno'd the car yet as recently I took a corner too fast and banged up the front fenders.... So now it is sitting at a body shop while I contemplate about changing the suspension and getting some wider tires on, but that is another story....
As for the Supercharger vs turbo, AA makes a C38 Level 2 kit which pushes 456 HP....

Thanks for posting your experiences with various suppliers. I have visited each suppliers website many times but haven't yet pulled the trigger.
You may have saved me the frustration you experienced.
Thank you.
I think the frustrating part of talking to Eurosport was ther snobby attitude. They were not helpful from the start as I was trying to understand the concept of Supercharging and the differences between centrifugal and twin screws. Then when I moved on to seeing what modifications would be necessary for putting their product into an E30, they were both giving non-informative and short answers.
AA on the other hand was very excited, and they phoned me directly to explain to me what issues I may run into during the installation such as the oil intercooler and intake piping. And they responded to all my emails within the same day or next day at the latest. They explained to me that the C38 was the way to go, even when I mentioned possibly going turbo. When I finally made my decision to order the kit, it was a no brainer. All of the parts came in a box which was well packaged and all of the parts needed, less the intake pipe was included. The kit bolted up to my S52 without any problems and I sent my ECU to AA. I got the ECU back within a week and the car started without a hitch!
Now if i can only learn how to drive......
