    s50/s52 swap, how much?

Hey guys im just wondering how much it would cost to swap an e36 m3 into an e30. Id would rather hear some feedback from people who actually had the swap done! (preperably an s50/s52 into the e30)

I have seen a couple of places selling the engine, tranny wiring harness etc. for 3-4 grand.

So lets say I have all the components for the swap, how much should it cost to get everything in and running?

Well, if you have all the components already, then it should only take time and effort to put it in.
But, for the motor and tranny, for an S50, I would say about 2500-3000 or so, if your lucky.
    For the S52, I would say about 3 - 4.5 for everything.

damn bro! didnt think it was that pricy!!! I know of a shop in montreal called bimmershop or something like that. Supposevely they have done the s50/s52 swap quite a few times, hopefully that would be helpfull to save time!!!

Otherwise I was thinking of turbocharging if it would be cheaper. I would tc on stock internals at about 8psi and rebuild it when it blows lol. Hopefully it would last all of next summer!

But I think there would be a lot less problems and a lot more realiablility with an m3 swap, so in the meantime hopefully I can come up with enough cash so I can do it next summer yeye!
