    Treehouse wiring adapter (WHAD)

Has anyone out there used the Treehouse Racing Wire Harness Adapter for the swap?

I believe MR. SWISS used the Treehouse Racing WHAD. I'm sure there are plenty of others, but he's one that comes to mind.

Many others have them, good product, good company that still supports E30 development. Better customer support, yes expensive but we did a huge 300 comment thread on this last year. Buy it you won't be dissatisfied.

Its made of all BMW parts. The guy that makes them is a cool dude.

Little pricey but it makes shit plug and play so take it for what its worth. If you're good at looking at wiring diagrams and troubleshooting, dont buy it.

It takes the level of difficulty for the swap from 9 wrenches to 4 that's for damn sure. And you don't lose a single function on the cluster or check panel.
I think it's well worth it and the guys there will answer any question you got about the swap before, during, or after purchase. 8-)

I already have one. I had some questions about the wiring. They have some wires labeled for connection "behind the glove box". Do they mean the C103 plug?

I had emailed them this same question about a month ago and never received a reply.

Were they at the track? Or did you send out a follow up? Might have gone to trash box.

yes, definitely these two wires go to the C104, which is the three pin connector situated behind the glovebox.

The C103 is located on the driver's side, underneath the dash.

I bought one, makes life easier. Its $300 or whatever, but you get the support with it. Jon helped me figure a few things out with the wiring.
