Finishing up my swap - is this ground ok?

Putting the finishing touches on it, I'd like to know if this is wrong before finding out the hard way. I see most guys use the E36 ground strap which I don't have, and add a stud for it on the body. I just reused the E30. Can anyone think of why this shouldn't work:

    Thanks!

Thumbs up! I did the same thing D - I didn't have a E36 one either. I'll make a nicer set with big stereo amp wire for cosmetic improvement, but works for now.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

You sir, need to clean up your blue brake fluid. It creates havoc on anything painted.

Yeah I know, I just saw that when I posted the pic. :P I seem to end every 8 hour wrenching day with a fuck up. Nothing major but it's at a point when I'm already very sore, tired and frustrated, and I do something without too much forethought and get totally pissed off and leave for the day. The brake fluid you see there is the remnance of one of those times - at the end of one day, after installing the brake reservoir, I filled it with brake fluid to bleed the brakes but I forgot that I don't have a clutch line. So I tried to be all David Copperfield in snatching the reservoir off the lines without losing much brake fluid. Needless to say it didn't work :)

One should not, under recent cirumstances claim to be anything related to David Coperfield.

Free tip about brake fluid... it doesn't eat paint if you cover it with water as soon as it spills. I keep a spray bottle hanging on my roll cart just in case.

I thought we are talking about David Copperfield? He is from Oregon, after all, the epicenter of all things E30.

                      That should work ok.
My car had a ground stud on the right frame rail, and connects to the stock e36 ground location on the right motor arm.
So the e30 cable wont run from the right arm, to the stud on the chassis?
