    Exhaust Headers?

i have a m50 b2.5 vanos. i see alot of m50's with shiny headers lol ( ebay and so forth) i have heard that they are great for the price but what fitment issues are you guys having with the down pipe. it looks like on some of the headers that they are downpipe and header combined. does this bolt striaght up and not hit the fire wall on the e30 or are you guyys chopping these pipe up right where they come from 6 to 2 and making your own down pipe . also im using stock a arm bushing's . what i want to do is use the pipes and have a collector to go back into my single exhaust since i originally have a 2 1/2 pipe for the e motor which is only one pipe instead of duals as on the i cars. or do i just need to get m3 tublar stock exhaust and cut them and make my own down pipe.

i guess people who are running aftermarket hears post up with what brand and what you had to do to get them to fit and what exhaust your using please and thank you

A buddy of mine and I both just bought the same headers. The are the cheapest long tube headers on ebay. He fit them in his M50 E30 with no modifications and stock CAB's.

I believe he is using the 535i mounts with no shims.

Those headers look great for the price - Do you know if they are going to be avail. for a extended period of time? I wanna pick up a set when I pick up my motor for my next swap.
