Thanks man! LOL I dunno if "purred" is the word I'd choose though. It sucks how video doesn't do it justice, it sounded like a dragster in person.

I had a dream last night that I started my S50 for the first time.

                It was glorious.

Thanks dude, I was hoping it would inspire some people. It didn't really inspire me as much as I hoped. It feels really cool but there's so much annoying shit left to do that I think it has made me slow down. I'm the type that's like 80% process 20% end result for my projects. I suppose I kind of feel "done" and there's no huge drive to keep going. I got the rad in now, need the hoses, need to get a little adapter for the [edit: PURGE] valve (not using the canister), gotta mount the overflow tank (big "ugh..."), gotta mount the relays, add the harness ground stud (been clamping it to the upper strut bearing stud), mount the diagnostic plug, clean up the wiring and finish the exhaust. The last one's a huge drag. For one I don't have the resources to chop and weld so not only am I too cheap to pay someone to do it, it goes against the principle of the project. So I'm gonna try to go as far as I can, keep it all stock. I'll plug the center bung on the OBDI downpipes and put the O2 into one of the OBDII manifolds, that way those don't need chopping. Then it looks like my RSC36 catback will follow the E30 underbody quite nicely. Maybe I'll just use some fucking coathanger wire to hang it all up and just get an exhaust shop to weld in the hangers - so I won't feel too bad paying someone to do work on this project.

The hard part is over, now you can be lazy and just finish things up by spring.
