s50 and ZF tranny, which driveshaft ?

When using the zf tranny with the s50, which driveshaft will work?

the e30 m3 will for sure, i know that,

but i also read that the 325e will work as well, this is the car we are swapping to and now are on a budget, is it possible to use the e30 driveshaft and swap the flanges on the transmission or use metal spacing sleeves?

    any other driveshafts useful?
e30 318i auto? which is that for?

I just went through this as well. It looks like any 4 flange E36 will work. I bought one from a 98 328, but any 96+ M3 is the same. A friend locally was able to use his early 325e shaft. Mine is a 91 318is, so it would not work. Where are you in NC? I am in Wilmington.
