Took me 9 months to complete my turbo. Half the fun is the project. Once you finish, youll just be looking for the next project. Keep up the good work man.

        Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

i no what you mean, everytime i walk in the garage my fiancee asks how long its going to be today lol!

heres what arrived today, i dunno what you people where talking about, im happy with the akg harness, im happy its not green, and tranny mounts

and headers, that dont look anything like the auction i won, not sure what to do, ill link you guys to the auction pics. theres only one o2 plug and no flared ends with flanges

              heres the auction pic

well its saturday, so back at it...with new lighting too, now i can see, and the pics are better.

finally got this stupid booster out, i made it harder than i thought, i couldnt see that there was a clip at the end of the pin, idiot.

so lets begin in here today...

handy crossover in the top of the ecu im removing...

first question, what is that plu? its on the harness, and also pluged into another harness under the dash

                better pic

is this another paper weight for me or can i get something for this?

my superviser tonight, shes never been in the e30, i think she found it smaller than the e36 i have.

since i had the computer unplugged, i started pulling the harness out ciomplete threw the firewall.

i think im understanding where my harness adaptor i bought goes, in here, this one goes bye bye with the harness.

im assuming this is what im suppose to have remaining in the car before the e36 harness arrives...will the new diagnostics plug reach the same e30 location?

so this is what im working with right now, i think the headlights are going bye bye tomorrow, might as well paint underneither the hood properly....im trying to hold back from pulling the ABS out.

cant believe i can actually see what im doing now, im not attached to my hand light anymore. did anyone notice i made a wall decoration out of my hood?he he i think im hanging the new headers soon.

at it again, my motor arrived, im a little annoyed by something im sure its obvius what the would be from the pics....the engine color matchs the engine stand...problem #1 sorry a couple pics are camera phone

finaly got it on the stand

i didnt fool around i got the headers off the minute it got to my garage, ready to instand stainless ones.

i still cant believe i have an engine in my garage....ive been waiting 10 years for this.

this is the kick in the nuts, thank god whoever did it didnt no what primer was, its going to come off no problem

while im at it, i started shaving this side as well, rerouting these brake lines

these are going buy buy, found a way to rerun them no problem

engine mounts are a whore, this didnt work, out came the impact gun.

once again, armenians cant help but smoke while working, its a mechanic thing to do

Good to see it coming together for you .

What is that extra thing you picked up , chrome flexi radiator hose ?

Althought he yellow cam and fuel rail cover is not to my liking I think its ironic that you are criticizing the quality as you did not even remove your intake or valve cover to paint them .

huh....thats weird, youd think they would make them all look the same, as long as it works though.

heres some updates, i put the headers on, modified the tranny braket to fit the new AKG tranny mounts, ground the air box braket off, and i cant get the abs unit out for the life of me, anyone know how to disconnect the harness off of it?

i pretty much dissconnected everything off the abs, but theres a few lines that go into the front part of the unit that i cant disconnect without cutting, i need some tech support here guys.
