It looks like a standard Heim joint to me!

You should be able to undo the locknut on the right side, then slide the bolt out the left side and slide the Heim joint and 2 spacers out.
The ball is integrated into the joint. You can't take it out.

Windsor, it's a good idea to grease the heimjoints and also the urethane bushings on the bars (F/R)--they're noisy sons of bitches ungreased!

Also, you might want to go ahead and get trunk-mount reinforcements for the rear bar. The factory mount has a tendency to break the sheetmetal off completely. Ireland Engineering makes the best product according to the SpecE30 guys.

FlyingBrickPerformance is much less painful to deal with than IE, so I'd recommend going that route. Price is the same.

They hold up for a while. I had a 19mm swaybar on for 4 years before the mount tore off.

Grease the inside of the bushing at the bar.

Mine also lasted about 4 years before the mount broke.

Those THR lollipop replacements are great from what I hear. They don't benefit in the way of swaybar clerance, but the THR eyeballs are great for exhaust clearance; I think they can clear euro S50 downpipes, but I'm not 100% sure on that. PM Skafrog, he knows a lot about them.

I believe they do. Seems like I remember Rob or someone talking about that. I think Azevados was using them on their euro s50 E30 conversions.

^^^ Yes they clear, but it's close. I don't think any other one's will work with the euro S50.

I kept my PowerFlex urethane offset bushings. The PowerFlex's are HUGE compared to everything else.

well, this weekend i decided to throw the sway bar, and diff back in, but i ran in to some minor problems, the new mounts use a much bigger bolt, so im going to have to open up the holes on the frame, as well i think this bolt they use is retarded, im goin got use some socket head cap screws instead, much easier to use, and remove if need be.

not the best pic, but this is the mounting locations i have to redrill.

heres a pic of the old bracket and the new one with the bigger bolt. lots of room to use cap screw instead, a wrench doesnt fit inside the bracket to tighten anyways...

and finally, heres 2 different colors i narrowed it down to that im going to paint the car, one is porsche guards red, which i found to light, and very close to the brialliant red(as you can see) and the other is japan electric red from the new e92's which is a darker shade, im also going to buy the factory engine code sticker to match under the hood.

                                back to work i go...........
