VERY short IMO. a 4.10 with a ZF makes first and second useles...i had that at the begining of my swap and i could take off third gear like it was a taller 1st gear.

btw got the chassis started on friday ;D...engine went in on wed!!! 2 days ftw
sweeet get it goin!, im still searching for a diff, and someone to illegally do my emissions test...or i have to get me a cat.

No thanks, I do all of my driving in town, drives great...
And I'm hoping to do a lot of drag racing with it, so with that in mind, 4.10 is awesome.

Edit: by the way, all my friends will agree, I am nuts behind the wheel of the e30. I don't think I could have more fun legally than I do. Its all personal style. You've tried it and know what you like, that's all that matters.

lol! dude, after driving it down the street, definelty a waste of time, i can shift 2nd to 5th no problem, its waaaay to short, it does 90km at 3000rpm!! it actually slowed the car down huge, with all the shifts i need. what you running bigD? 3.73? i think im going to take the 2.93 apart and see what the issue is, maybe i can save it, ill prolly get the same gearing if its fucked.

very happy myself i dont think its worth the hassle of finding those parts, plus after seeing the power steering lines, im not sure what i would have done to make the e30 ones work. well worth the money.

i think i blew the diff, i forgot to check the fluid level and now that it was making some serious noises, i thought id check and i was able to add about a liter and a half, i drove it around again and it is quiter but it feels like something is loose in there. so is it a bad idea to through the 4.10 in there just so i can drive it to get my stickers and emissions test?
