stock brake booster fits????

So,

The stock brake booster fits in the car with my motor and intake all installed. I had to shave a few of the fins off the m50 intake.

anyone else have this happen to them? or tried it?

the tranny isn't hooked up yet, so the motor is leaning forward, but I leaned to the motor against the firewall and it still fit. I'm using z3 motor mounts, if that makes any difference...

m50 manifold is from 93 325is

once the tranny its installed, and bolted up, the motor will NOT HAVE ANY CLEARANCE!

i agree, The engine will be "moved" or twisted rather toward the drivers side with the trans installed.

If you fit the stock booster I'm willing to bet your engine is not sitting in there correctly.

Im pretty sure that if a stock brake booster worked, it would be spread across the internet a long time ago..

Its just too snug in there for the stock one to work.

I have the stock brake booster in my car. It fits, you just have to shave the intake mani and put spacers under the motor mount arm

And then you've got incorrect geometry. This may lead to improper driveline angles and your rubber parts (guibo, flexdisk, blah, blah) may deteriorate faster than normal.

Most people space their motors for one reason or another. My car runs fine and I've put about 20k miles on it since the swap.

Another option also is to slot the holes for the brake booster. This works also.
