    S52 OBDI pcv...

Since the OBDII PCV system uses a controlled valve to route vapors to the intake manifold, shouldn't the OBDI system use some type of one way valve too?

Seems like we are just using a piece of hose directly into the air intake elbow, without any way to prevent air from being pushed into the valve cover/crankcase by the incoming air.

Unless you have a super charger or turbo, even then it should be routed pre-inlet, it is a non-issue. You can even just plug the hole it goes to and run a catch can/breather filter.

Any idea what fitting is the best for the S52 valve cover hole? Filing down the OBDI fitting to fit in there is pretty cheesy, rather have something that fits properly.

you could thread it to accept an AN -10 or closest size fitting and run a AN hose somewhere.
or a male barb fitting (i'm thinking you could use a 1/2 inch NPT fitting).
