My m50 dyno.. good or bad?

i dyno'd my car this morning. its a 95 m50tu with: ebay headers, 2 1/4 piping, single resonator, magnaflow exhaust, m20 flywheel/clutch, intake, and a chip. no a/c, but it does have power steering. i got 159 first run, 174 2nd run, and 180 3rd. what do you guys think and has anyone else done an M50 dyno (not S50).

    this is the graph's:
(sorry bout the quality its from my phone)

let me know what you guys think..

Not a bad peak number, if it can be trusted.

Graphs are strange. We don't usually see such a dip at 4200. What kind of software? Did you put your motor together yourself?

the dyno can be trusted i know that for a fact ,dinan chip for now but im gunna get your software once i get my s50 cams, i was wondering what that dip was at 4200... and yes i put it together with help from MR 325, Asubimmer, and TNG auto

Not sure exactly what that is... could be knock, could be software, could be cam timing...

what do you mean by knock like rod knock or like knock sensor?

Those numbers are not bad compared to what I have seen before on the BFc forums.

Why was there such a large difference between the first and third runs? Usually power decreases as the engine heat soaks. Did you change anything between those runs?

Could be he started way below optimal temp and it warmed up by the 3rd run.

I know that my engine puts out 198,8 hp (on the motor...).. Its a M50 2.5 liters with M3 headers, exhaust and K&N airfilter. I don't know if you can use that information for anything?

just a shot in the dark..... but it looks like they changed gears. rpm vs. road speed.

                        cheers, jason

Why didn't they do an AFR graph? All I see in the area where it should be are two lines that don't look like an AFR line.

I hate to do it.....but the graph and dyno runs are in STD mode. Maybe you can contact the dyno operator to bring up your file and do the SAE conversion. It's the only way to compare to others graphs, which are mostly SAE.

I don't suspect you'll lose too much, but be prepared.
