S54 locked cams with M50 non vanos electronics??

This is just a thought but could an S54 be ran on M50 non Vanos electronics? I would use a Vanos eliminator ,ball crank adapter for throttle say from Vac Motorsports, and Euro HFM for starters. It would seem that the only major hurdle would be a good tune. Euro motors are starting to become harder to find and there are plenty of S54 that are available. Just a thought for now but it would be nice to start out with 333hp instead of the standard 240hp S50-52. Any tuners out there up for a challenge??

Non vanos electronics suck. No knock sensors, much less advanced software than the 413/506, and I'm not even sure if you can use a euro MAF with the nonvanos harness because it's setup for an HFM.

We might be willing to give it a shot (using a 413) if you were local, or even closer, but probably not totally remotely. I'll talk to the boss about it though.

Sweet, LMK. I might be up for a roadtrip to Hot-lanta.

dam it, I find out a new reason every day why my non-vanos blows.

          It's better than an M20.

I talked to Mike, apparently there's too much going on to mess with any more projects like that. Sorry.

No prob, I think stand alone and forced induction will be the way it goes for me after weighing all the options anyway. Thanks for the shot bro.
