    318is radiator hose options?

For 318is radiator which coolant hoses for upper/lower?
also is everyone using the factory recall heater hoses or what hose to use for back of cylinder head to heater core line?

also quick power steering hose questions?
can E36 resevoir to pump be used?
and which hoses for pump to rack, and rack to resevoir?

I searched but found conflicting answers.

    thanks-Pete

Use either an m20 or m50 lower radiator hose. The lower outlet of the m42 radiator is in the same spot as the m20/m50 rad. For the upper hose, its a little tougher. I used an m20 hose and cut a few inches off it. Then I fit it over the housing. it'll take some persuasion the first time because its not made larger to fit over the housing.

As for the heater hoses, I used a stock m50 hose set-up. It runs from the water pump to the heater core, and the e30 hose that come from the heater core and to the back of the head.

The e36 P/S reservoir can be used. all the e30 hoses will work fine, but you will need to shorten the feed line from the reservoir to the pump. Since the e30 reservoir is up much higher, the hose is longer. Just clip it and fit it.

couldnt tell you.. its whatever i got with the motor and they are probably original. I did quite a bit of re-routing of stuff and quick fixes when i put the motor in, and never changed them cause I never had trouble. I'm not running lines to the TB, and obviously dont have the coolant valve that goes into the airbox to 'turn on' or off the flow to the TB.
