couple questions i need straight answers for...

so ive read bout 95% of the comprehensive swap thread but still got a few questions. here they are... 1. my m50 is out of a e34. can i use the stock arms or do i need e36 arms? i thought i read somewhere that i could but im not sure. 2. could i use a e34 ecu or for some weired reason do i need a m3 ecu? 3. and lastly, what alternator do i use? thanks in advance guys. greatly appreciated. erich

You need e36 mounting arms.

Use the alternator and ECU that came with your motor... or any other e36 alternator and and OBDI ECU (part numbers will end in 413 or 506)

And for god's sake search.

for god sake i did search and couldnt find the specific info i needed. thank you for your help. although my motor didnt come with the alternator or :(
